- Discussion - No new project status - Fairly good results - Till - Linux Foundation has been reimbursed by GSoC for completions - Web interface for OP Admin apparently not to be completed - Till
- Lars is patching standard print dialogs (Gnome, etc.) to invoke CPD - Preview interface causes application dependency - DBUS interface for CPD is the solution to application independence - Lars now working on the DBUS interface - Lively discussion around possible proliferation of print dialogs
- Last bugs were fixed right before December holidays - Documentation will shortly be finished - Release within two weeks
- Shifting toward use of Ghostscript (rather than Poppler) - Till - PDF workflow may not be appropriate for handheld systems - Glen - Where is the rendering (rasterization) going to occur? - Glen - Need single-frame CPD and zero-frame CPD (app directed) - Glen
- Need topics identified by mid-February in order to prepare - Target of 5 or more GSoC 2009 interns for OP projects - Lars will volunteer as a mentor
