        - Identify resources to update PPDs and do integration testing in
          February/March 2011 and through late summer 2011

• (3) Ubuntu Maverick (Till)

      - Thursday 16 September is final freeze for Ubuntu Maverick
        - Final release will be 10 October 2010 at 10:10:10am UTC
  
      - First Linux distribution that automatically downloads binary
        printer drivers from OP database
  
      - Incorporates tool from Google Summer of Code 2010 student that
        compresses PPD files (20:1 compression) contained in the Ubuntu
        Maverick release
  
      - Searching of local PPDs is now much faster due to compression
  
      - Ubuntu Maverick CDs will contain all drivers (to allow offline
        installation without an Internet connection, e.g., a secure site)
