(1) Google Chrome OS Printer Drivers - Till and Ira

    - Google Chrome OS is Linux-based

      - Targeted at netbooks
      - Google working w/ netbook manufacturers
      - Printer Driver strategy is unclear

    - Reply to PWG query to Chrome OS team on 7 February - Ira
      - Mike Jazayeri, Chrome OS Printing Product Manager
      - Marc Pawliger, Chrome OS Printing Engineering Manager
      - Public announcement about Chrome OS printing strategy
        planned in next few weeks

    - Both were invited to Open Printing Summit - Till
      - No reply yet

(2) Common Print Dialog - Till and Lars

    - Not much activity on CPD Phase 1 in the last week - Lars
      - Brief conversation with Kate last week - some tips
      - CPD is currently implemented according to spec to Level 2
      - Missing are extended toolkits and applications to use the CPD
      - Should compile on any Linux or UNIX distribution

    - KDE running on Mac OSX doesn't run dialog well - Peter
      - KDE tries to look like Mac OSX

    - Last funding (only to end-of-January) was for KDE version
      - Need to renew funding for Lars for KDE and GTK+

    - Next steps for CPD
      - Usability testing on CPD Phase 1 in March - Peter
      - Presentation at Open Printing Summit in person - Peter and Kate
      - Full release in fall 2010 - Peter

      - Avoid Linux Foundation Plenary/Keynotes on Wednesday morning
